​Your new tattoo has been applied under hygienic conditions using sterile/disposable needles and other equipment. Now it’s up to you. You must take time and care in looking after your new tattoo. To prevent your tattoo becoming infected and ruined you must follow the correct procedure and keep it CLEAN until it is fully healed.
Remove the dressing after a minimum of one hour. If the dressing has stuck soak in warm water to remove rather than ripping the dressing off.
Do not re-cover the tattoo.
Gently wash the tattoo with warm water and an antibacterial soap using clean hands never a cloth.
Pat the area dry with a clean towel and apply a small amount of after-care cream.
Apply after-care cream morning and night and after showering Formation of a light scab will occur after a few days.
Do not pick, scratch or damage the scab in any way, simply leave it alone and allow it to drop off in its own time.
Remember that touching the tattoo with dirty hands can pass on infection. Choose clean loose clothing that does not run or irritate the tattooed area.

Healing time will vary from 2-6 weeks, during which time you must avoid the following:
Over soaking in the bath or shower- wash quickly and pat dry.

Exposure to strong sunlight- exposure to the sun, including sun beds should be avoided completely for the first 3 months.
